Well things have been a little crazy the past few weeks. I am back to work and things are going pretty good. I only have only 22 students in my class right now so that is a major plus. I am sure I will get a few more soon because traditional schools starts this week. Every year a handful of kids come in with their parents saying we didn't know school started already.
Last weekend my younger brother Andy was hit by a car in Provo. He was crossing the street with a friend and a 17 year old girl making a left hand turn ran into him. He had surgery on his nose this last week and he will need a lot of dental work done. Other than that he has lots of scrapes and bruises.
Mike just got back from New York City. He went with his friend Ty. He really wanted to go to a Yankees game before the staduim closed. While he was gone Kaden started running a fever so I took him to the doctor and he has an ear infection. I am thankful Mike is back, I don't know how single moms do it.
We are also closing on our new house this week if all goes as planned. We are only moving about a block away but it will still be a lot of work. It will be great to be in a bigger home and I am very excited to have Chelsey come help me decorate.
Kaden has begun crawling the past few weeks. He thinks it is pretty cool to crawl under our coffee table. Being a mom has just become more exhausting. He loves cords so if he sees one he is there before I know it. I have to start baby proofing the house.
My sister took Andy to get his surgery this last week. Brook told me about this conversation between Andy and the doctor in the recovery room. Keep in mind Andy had an ice pack on his face so he couldn't see anything.Someone enters the room
Andy " Is that you doc?"
Doctor "Yeah"
Andy " Did you fix my nose up real good"
Doctor "Yeah"
Andy " You didn't give me no Michael Jackson nose did you?"
Brook could barely stop laughing enough to tell me the story.
